Doubt is a demon.
People will ALWAYS have an opinion about you!
But we don't live for people, we live for the Lord!
You gotta let them DOUBT you.
While God DEVELOPS you!
Stop sharing seats with insecurity & doubt...sometimes you have to talk back to your problems.
I am the head not the tail.
I am above not beneath.
Dysfunction opens doors to demons
& the enemy always wants us to doubt God's promises.
Dysfunction blurs discernment.
Not trusting the right people because we believed the wrong people.
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, (James 1:2)
God doesn't promise we won't have trials.
But He does give us access to have joy THROUGH the trials!

Happiness is temporary.
Joy is eternal.
We need joy through the valleys, through the trials, through the rejection, through every battle situation.
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (James 1:3-5)
Our faith being tested produces patience, & another word for patience is long suffering.
Reproach - disapproval/disappointment.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. (James 1:6-8)
Doubt is wavering, it's to oppose
Double minded - wavering, uncertain, doubting. divided in interest.
How to know if I'm operating in double mindedness?
unstable
inconsistent
restless
Doubt
Double minded
Division
Our faith gets tested.
Testing in our faith produces patience.
Comfort that patience has it's perfect work.
Ask in faith with no doubt.
How to make sure that this is God's will?
#1 Prayer
#2 God's word
#3 Fasting
We want to honor what is from God, so it's always great to make sure this is of the Lord & His will over our life.
The longer you entertain what is not from God, the longer you'll postpone what is.
God can do more with your surrender than YOU can do with your control...
Whenever you hear about doubt, there may also be insecurity.
We need faith and hope so we can cancel doubt and insecurity.
Hope cancels doubt.
5 Thus says the Lord:
“Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the Lord.
6 For he shall be like a shrub in the desert,
And shall not see when good comes,
But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,
In a salt land which is not inhabited. (Jeremiah 17:5-6)
Do you put your trust in...
self?
man?
flesh?
It will birth curses. Our trials will test if we really trust in God.
Doubting God will blur our discernment because we will not be able to see when good comes.
7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Our hope in God matters.
Trust & hope go together, which keeps us grounded as God's people.
12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. (Proverbs 13:12)
Hope 'put off' makes our heart sick.
When we don't have hope, our hearts become vulnerable to sickness.
We must have hope, but it starts with faith.
